I was recently in an accident. I was driving a 2016 Mercedes E Class. The vehicle has had around $8,000.00 worth a repairs to date and counting. To be perfectly frank, I don't want the damn car anymore. I bought it brand new and now its a wrecked heap of junk. I want to sell or trade the vehicle as soon as its out the shop, however, now I know I am going to lose money when I do. I know I have a diminished value claim, but I need an appraiser who knows what they are doing. Any suggestions?

Thanks for the post.

I am sorry to hear about your accident, but am glad to hear you are utilizing the diminished value process available to you in North Carolina. While we do not necessarily refer any one particular appraiser, we have provided a list of North Carolina Licensed Appraisers on our website. Also, please feel free to visit our North Carolina Diminished Value section as well, which is dedicated to explaining the process.

Thanks again for the post, and I hope this helped.
